Bike Month Challenge!

• Love to Ride is a FREE app that lets you track your rides!

• You can join Groups, like Auburn Trails Alliance, and challenge your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to friendly competitions

• The neat thing about the app is that simply by using it, you contribute anonymous data to help city and park planners make our infrastructure better.

• So if you want to see more bike lanes and bike trails in the Auburn area, using the app can show the “powers the be” how much we’re actually out there riding!

• To sign up, click one of the green buttons above or visit LoveToRide.Net. After signing up, download the app!

• Once you have your Profile set up, click ‘Join a Club/Group’

• Next, click ‘Join Existing’ and search for Auburn Trails Alliance!

• Once you join the Auburn Trails Alliance group, you can start logging your rides!

What are Streaks?

• You can log your rides manually on your Love to Ride profile OR you can choose one of the following options to get your rides to load automatically.

• OPTION 1: You can sync your Love to Ride app with either Strava or Map My Ride and every time you record a ride on either app, your rides will automatically be logged onto your Love to Ride profile! How great is that?! 😃

• OPTION 2: No Strava? No problem. If you allow the app to use your location (have it running in the background) then your Love to Ride app will automatically detect when you're riding a bike and will automatically log your rides. There will be no need to open the app, press start, or press stop!

• CLICK HERE and use your Strava log in to Register with Love to Ride! It’s that easy! Every time you record a ride on Strava, it will automatically populate on Love to Ride!

• Just make sure your Strava privacy settings for your rides are set to either 'Everyone' or 'Followers' in the Activities section. If they are all private, the won’t sync automatically

• CLICK HERE if you need extra help linking your apps

• And! Fun fact. If you have friends who learn about our Bike Month Challenge after May 1st, if they have a Strava account, they can sync it with Love To Ride any day before May 30th and Love To Ride will populate all their rides from earlier that month, which will all count towards prize entries!

While we’d love for you to get out and ride, we know that’s not always possible, so yup! Indoor rides count! Just log your ride on your Love to Ride app!

Please note that indoor rides cannot be synced from the Love to Ride app, Strava or MapMyRide and will need to be logged manually.

On your profile, simply enter a distance or length of time, the date, and then select ‘indoor ride’

• There are! In addition to having a chance to win prizes through Auburn Trails Alliance, you can also compete against the region during Bike Month through the Love to Ride App.

• However, the only way to win the prizes offered through Auburn Trails Alliance is to join our group on the app so we can see how far you rode and give you your well-earned raffle tickets at our event on May 31st!

• For every 5 miles you ride and log onto Love To Ride, you’ll earn an entry to win prizes at our Trivia Night & Raffle on Friday, May 31st at Ponderosa Cider here in Auburn.

• Arrive at Ponderosa Cider anytime between 5:30PM and 7:15PM that Friday to receive your earned raffle tickets and check out the raffle prizes.

• When you see prizes you hope to win, drop one of your tickets in the bag in front of the prize.

• At 7:30PM we will pull a winning ticket out of each prize bag and some lucky winners will walk home with some very cool prizes!

• This is a no-purchase ticket raffle, so the only way to have a chance to win prizes is to ride and participate through the Love to Ride app!

• You have to be present to win at the raffle and all ages can participate!

You betcha! The prizes offered will cover all ages so everyone can participate!

• The Top riders of each category will win awesome prizes!

• While we encourage everyone to come to our May 31st Trivia Night and Raffle, those who win the Leaderboards do not need to be present on May 31st to receive their winnings. We can coordinate with winners to get them their prizes.
